Guy is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with almost 15 years’ experience in the construction industries of the UK, Ireland and the Middle East, and has been employed by contractors and professional practices. In addition to acting as quantum expert, Guy has represented and advised public sector bodies, private sector employers, quantity surveyors, PI insurers, accountants and insolvency practitioners, main contractors, and specialist sub-contractors in a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters. Guy also carries out in-house training and has given seminars on topics such as design liability, delay analysis and public works contracts.

Prior to developing his skill as a consultant, Guy trained with a national firm of Contractors as a site based Project Quantity Surveyor on fast-track, refurbishment projects for retail clients, procured on both traditional and partnering bases. In his current role within Driver Consult, Guy is the Operational Director currently responsible for developing the company’s office in Birmingham.
