Kevin qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1975 after 5 years of study at the Glasgow College of Building and a period of professional training with a firm of Chartered Quantity Surveyors in Paisley, Scotland. Since qualification he has worked in private practice, the contracting industry, the process, power and heavy engineering industries holding senior positions on large scale building projects, nuclear power plants, a dam and hydro electric scheme, a suspension bridge, a number of roads and bridges, underground metro system, dry docks and ports, deep shaft mining and tunnels.

Kevin has lived and worked in many parts of the world including the UK, Ireland, Iran, France, Dubai, Oman, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Denmark, Malaysia, Ethiopia and South Africa. He is experienced in Commercial and Contractual Management, Claims Preparation and Claims Defence, Dispute Resolution including Arbitration and Litigation, Expert Reports and Project Management.
