Lee has extensive experience of delivering projects on time and on budget having spent ten years working as a contract administrator, employer’s agent and project manager on a variety of projects. During this period (1988 – 1998), Lee undertook the master planning of schemes, setting the overall development time frame, including both the pre-contract and construction phases and also on some projects, the fitting-out. Lee’s role as lead consultant also included the assessment and granting of extensions of time as well as the complete financial management of projects.

For the last ten years, Lee has specialised in delay analysis. He has acted as expert advisor and expert witness on a wide variety of projects and disputes, providing forensic planning and programming services. He has an excellent working knowledge of all the delay analysis techniques and is a competent user of the main project management software applications currently in use in the UK. Lee’s forensic planning experience includes building, construction, civil engineering, highways, marine and process. His experience also includes, hospitals, residential, industrial and commercial projects.

Lee trained initially as a Building Surveyor and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has completed a Masters Degree in Construction Management and Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Arbitration. He is a Member of the Association for Project Management, a founder Member of the Planning Engineer’s Organisation and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Lee is a member of the Society of Construction Law, the Adjudication Society and the London Constructing Excellence Club. He is currently part way through the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate and has recently been assessed as competent under Cross Examination.
