Michael trained with a national contractor and spent 24 years with them becoming Regional Commercial Director in Scotland. He has since been involved in the provision of construction dispute services in relation to projects in the UK, Europe, Caribbean and Dubai.

He has an LLM in Construction Law from the University of Strathclyde and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Michael is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Within Driver Consult he is Operations Director responsible for the Edinburgh Office.

Michael specialises in providing claims and expert witness services and has acted as an Expert Witness in a number of cases including giving expert evidence.
