Paul is responsible for clients based within Mainland Europe; exceptions being personal appointments such as Expert Witness appointments and work associated with forms of ADR such as Mediation and DABs / DRBs.

The sectors of the industry that Paul’s clients operate in reflect the industry as a whole however; Paul has extensive experience working within the energy sector. Much of Paul’s time is spent enhancing the commercial and contractual skills of his clients through seminars and training in respect of bespoke forms of contract or standard forms such as FIDIC.

Whilst much of Paul’s time has been spent advising clients and providing support during Litigation and/or Arbitration Paul has also acted as Mediator and Expert Witness. Paul has been appointed in respect of disputes within the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, the West Indies and Africa. The most recent appointment being a Parties Joint Expert in respect of a dispute relating to a hospital in Tobago constructed under a FIDIC contract.
